My name is Zoraida. I have a wonderful husband, three amazing children, two beautiful grandchildren, and an awesome Goddaughter. I love Jesus and my passion in life has always been working with children, but I didn’t start there. My first work experiences were in retail management until I soon realized how much I loved children.
After moving from Virginia to Orlando, I received an Early Childhood Teaching Certificate and was blessed to work with children for over 15 years. In that time my health prevented me from fully working with children. I was sad, and not sure of God’s plan for me, but He truly showed me His plan is always greater.
I began volunteering at the Z three years ago and volunteered during fundraisers before starting in events. I won breakfast with Ellis and Tyler at the Dream Team garage sale, and during breakfast, I found out I had been listening to Ellis on the radio from Connecticut to Virginia – Hope too!!
Now, God is showing me that I can still do my passion by serving Him at the Z, helping to minister to families and see some amazing kiddos along the way!! God is so good!
